Halloween 2019

Image
I'm sorry I haven't been around. I am truly going through it right now. I've been healing, planning, scheming and even doing the odd bit of actually living. I know. Wow. I'm planning on doing a huge project in the new year where I'll really go into detail on why I fell down the rabbit hole of depression again and really working hard to raise awareness, and create a whole journey of how I'm rebuilding my life from scratch. The next two months are going to be spent planning that journey out so I can put the best content and real version of myself out there. I'm really excited. And you should be too. But onto the actual post. All my Halloween plans had fell through this year but I had this sudden spurt of inspiration on Halloween eve (that is a thing), I got myself dolled up (spooky version) and headed into town for possibly the last pumpkin spiced latte of the season, wandered around a few shops at all the Halloween sections, bought some new decorations fo...

Cute Halloween finds: a haul

Image
This post is a little something different, I had bought/found some amazing Halloween things that I really wanted to talk about on here.  I'm about to go on holiday and needed a nice, light hearted post just to say goodbye for a week. Or maybe two. And this post just seemed perfect. Tomorrow morning, at 6am, me and my boyfriend will be boarding our flight to Ibiza for 7 days, then once I'm back I'm going straight on a second holiday in England this time, with my family. I'm hoping to bring my laptop along to my England holiday but can't promise posts because I might be too submerged with having fun with my family. We'll see what happens. This is just a little compilation of some really cute Halloween finds, as well as a sneaky, teeny, holiday haul just because I'm excited at the things I bought today. So these are my purchases today. I've packed my suitcase ready to go but found I really needed some proper toiletry bags to put my things into. I ...

Cute things to do in Autumn

Image
As it is now well into September, officially spooky season, officially my cosy, favourite season. It's time for cosy posts again. I was having a conversation with my boyfriend about how excited we are to be getting the cinnamon candles out and fluffy pjs and spooky movies and I started planning out all our cute little 'fall dates' I want us to go on, then I figured, as I love lists so much, and I love autumn blog posts so much, I should write up all my plans and 'bucket list' for autumn. I know seasonal bucket lists are such a 2012 thing to do but I still love them and I love anything autumn/Christmas related and I will forever write lists till the day I die. So here are some things I'm planning to do this Autumn. - Go to a corn maze. I don't live to far from Wistow maze and I've wanted to go for years but never got round to it. This year I'm hoping to make sure I go with J as a cute little date. - Go cinema for a horror movie. The plan wa...

The Halloween Playlist Of 2015

Image
This is a quick post up in writing, but it took a heeell of a lot of planning to get it done. I was stalking the Bastille hashtag on Tumblr just because I wanted to see their faces, and I saw someone had made a Halloween playlist with one of Bastille's songs and it excited me. I've never seen/heard of/thought of a Halloween playlist before, and I knew I absolutely had to do one. So I did a bit of research into what kind of songs people put on, which sparked inspiration for songs from my favourite people, so I wrote down every single song I thought would be cool and Halloweeny, then got rid of a load that didn't really fit the theme that the playlist had taken. I went through absolute hell trying to find a good order for the songs to go in, so the start of one song would flow well the the end of another. I felt like I've just made my own album. It's amazing. I then wrote a tracklist, very quickly just now -which I could have put a bit more thought into (maybe next ye...
