Hey! I'm Shannon, I'm 22 years old and live in Leicester, UK

I created this blog as a lost 16 year old wanting a voice in the world. Since then my blog has gone through many stages, of makeup looks, travel diaries, music playlists, cryptic thoughts, mental health exposure, and even a poetry thing got thrown in once.

Writing is my passion and I don't exactly have a niche but I'd say I somewhat fall into the "lifestyle" category. I'm on a huge self discovery, mental health journey which I talk about a lot after having a nervous breakdown in 2018. The introductory post for that journey is here.
But my blog isn't sad and solely based around mental health, I put a humour mask on just about everything so my posts always somewhat light hearted, whilst always being very real.

Cute things to do in Autumn

As it is now well into September, officially spooky season, officially my cosy, favourite season. It's time for cosy posts again. I was having a conversation with my boyfriend about how excited we are to be getting the cinnamon candles out and fluffy pjs and spooky movies and I started planning out all our cute little 'fall dates' I want us to go on, then I figured, as I love lists so much, and I love autumn blog posts so much, I should write up all my plans and 'bucket list' for autumn. I was tagged to do the 'Vogue parody 73 questions challenge', based off of the 73 questions Vogue do with celebrities on YouTube. I love doing things like this so a massive thank you to "Leah"  for tagging me to do this, and "Emily" for starting it. What is your usual Starbucks order? This time of year it is the specials, so the Christmas drinks or previously a pumpkin spiced latte which is my favourite Starbucks drink. Confronting Mental Health, One Hell Of a Journey

I wrote half of this post out months ago. It's a very hard one to write, and even harder to decide if it should be published. But I'm embarking on a new chapter in my life right now, and I kinda want to start afresh and I feel this post needs to go up so I can be completely transparent on here. I have mentioned in other posts that my mental health hasn't been on par this year but I really want to sit down and talk about it properly. It's going to be a long post, but it's something I feel is detrimental to my journey and moving onto to my next chapter. My mental health this year caused me to drop out of uni, it made me fall out of love with nursing and caring for people.
